PU
With our innovative structure, G-PUR, we aim to generate intellectual property and establish an applied recycling facility, SurePUre. Our goal is to develop a pioneering PU recycling company capable of independently recycling post-consumer waste. Through our first case, we will demonstrate a viable business model that showcases the economic and environmental benefits of PU recycling.
At SurePUre, we are starting with glycolysis and hydro-glycolysis processes, along with a series of pretreatment steps for PU foams. These processes allow us to convert waste streams back into valuable polyols and isocyanate derivatives. As we progress, we are gradually expanding our toolkit and the range of waste streams we can handle, ensuring we stay at the forefront of PU recycling technology.
Our vision extends beyond local operations. With the support of our parent company, G-PUR, we plan to replicate our successful model internationally. We will focus on regions with high concentrations of PU waste, aiming to create a global network of recycling facilities that contribute to a more sustainable future.
By centralizing our background knowledge in polyurethanes and continuously developing specific expertise in PU recycling, we are committed to overcoming the challenges associated with recycling this complex material. Our ultimate aim is to establish a first-of-its-kind PU recycling company that not only addresses the issue of post-consumer waste but also sets new standards for the industry.

PU IP
Our commitment to innovation is evident in the intellectual property we generate, particularly in the PU recycling process. We are continually developing new technologies and methods that enhance our recycling capabilities, making our approach both efficient and unique. These advancements not only improve the effectiveness of our operations but also contribute significantly to our goal of making PU a sustainable plastic.
One of our key innovations is C-Ray, an under development technology specifically designed to sort PU waste efficiently (which may expand to other streams).. This development is part of our broader strategy to improve sorting and pre-treatment processes, ensuring that we handle PU waste in the most effective way possible.
We believe that achieving sustainability in PU recycling is an “And” story, where the industry will need to adopt a variety of technologies tailored to specific PU streams. By integrating these innovations, we are building a robust foundation that supports our mission to create a first-of-its-kind PU recycling company. Our approach ensures that we remain at the cutting edge of technology, providing comprehensive solutions that address the complexities of PU recycling.

PU OPCO
SurePUre, our PU OPCO, is at the forefront of polyurethane recycling innovation. It will be developed in the Port of Antwerp’s NextGen district, SurePUre was the first to secure a concession for the next 30 years. This hub, created by the Port of Antwerp, is designed to support start-ups focused on sustainable technologies, providing them with the opportunity to establish industrial-scale facilities.
Our strategic location in the Port of Antwerp offers significant advantages. It allows us to efficiently source waste from the Benelux region and France, while also providing multiple options for selling our recycled products. This geographical advantage strengthens our supply chain and market reach, ensuring the success of our operations.
What we do

About our fields
There are many forms of recycling and quite frankly, we will need all of them at this point in time. Depending on the specific waste stream, we look for the most sustainable solution in terms of footprint, energy and value after recovery and conversion. This has led to 4 areas of interest in our portfolio.
